PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electric power by reducing consumption of electric power of a heater in a vaporization type oil combustion device having the heater. SOLUTION: A device having a heater 7 comprises at the bottom portion thereof a vaporizer 1 having an outlet 5 for a mixed gas, a mixing chamber 8 which communicates with the outlet 5 at the lower portion of the vaporizer 1, a burner 11 which is arranged above the mixing chamber 8 and at the back side of the vaporizer 1, and a plurality of longitudinal heat absorbing fins 16 which are formed on the back of the vaporizer 1 and protruded over the burner 11. The level of the lower end surface of the plurality of heat absorbing fins 16 is established to the level to which the high temperature outer flame of the flame formed by the burner 11 in strong heating power combustion, comes into contact. In this way, heat back efficiency at the time of strong heating power combustion in which much power is consumed, is improved, and power is saved.
