PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease of productivity caused by generation of a crack between cylinder ports, while ensuring wear resistance or the like of a cylinder chamber. SOLUTION: A cylinder block 2 consists of a cylinder side member 26 substantially including each cylinder 24,25 and a port side member 27 actually including each cylinder port 21,23 or the like, heat treatment or the like is applied to the cylinder side member 26, while the port side member 27 is manufactured by shell mold casting, and the cylinder ports 21,23 or the like in the inside are left as in the casting dimension. Both the members 26,27 are integrally connected by a tightening bolt. A mating face of both the members 26,27 may be connected by sintered powder.
