PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building having a good balance in rigidity between neighboring ceiling beams. SOLUTION: A floor-beam-omitted building unit 10B is arranged adjacently to a standard building unit 10C and, among ceiling beams 32 of this floor-beam- omitted building unit 10B, a ceiling beam 32A adjacent to the standard building unit 10C is used as an ordinary beam formed into a rod shape. In this way, the ceiling beam 32A of the floor-beam-omitted building unit 10B and a ceiling beam 42A of the standard building unit 10C become the same kinds of beams so that these ceiling beams 32A, 42A have the deflections almost the same due to horizontal and vertical loads without deviating a load to one side, thereby giving a good balance in the rigidity between adjacent ceiling beams 32A, 42A.
