ALPHABET INPUT METHOD AND APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A method and a device for inputting alphabets are provided to input intuitional English alphabets with the smallest number of typing and minimize routes for inputting English alphabets in a keypad. CONSTITUTION: A visual converting unit visually distinguishes second candidate keys which can be pressed from other keys which can not be pressed. A time checking unit measures key input time to determine whether the key input time is the last one. A controller processes data and processes of a keypad, the visual converting unit, and the time checking unit. The controller displays alphabets determined by a key combination on a display unit.
