<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacture by securing long-period stability in sensitivity and increasing tolerance. <P>SOLUTION: A wavelength filter is formed on surfaces which form an apex angle of a prism whose apex angle is 90°. A wavelength separation filter is constituted by arranging and joining a plurality of such prisms together such that directions of adjacent prisms based upon their apex angles are opposite to each other.
