PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic head in which a slider is separated from a recording medium or a ramp at the time of start or loading while improving a following property of the slider during operation. SOLUTION: In a flexible chassis 20 provided with a fixing part 21 fixed to a load beam 10, a coupling part 23 coupling tips of a pair of outriggers 22 and a pair of outriggers 22 extended to a tip direction from both sides of the fixed part 21, and a clapper piece 25 which is coupled and supported at the tip of a leaf spring 24 extended to the fixed part 21 between a pair of outriggers 22 from the middle part of the coupling part 23 and in which a slider is attached to a plane of an opposing side with respect to the disk D, a transverse slit 27a and a longitudinal slit 27b dividing the coupling part 23 and the leaf spring part 24 are formed at them, and the clapper piece 25 is supported so as to be able to shift resisting to the leaf spring 24a indicating a pair of L shapes and the elastic stress of the coupling part 23b.
