PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information reproducing device in which exchange of media can be carried out while the information reproducing device is mounted on a computer or a portable terminal apparatus. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a card type device main body 101 having: a connector 50 at one end; a media inserting port 101a at another end; and a media loading section 101b connected to the media inserting port, and a media driving section 100 which is mounted on the media loading section of the device main body so as to be slidably displaceable to the separating position separating the media away from the device main body for inserting/ejecting to/from the media inserting port and to the proximity position approaching for driving the media loaded on the media loading section.
