PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk cartridge which prevents a recording disk medium from being taint-damaged as much as possible, is excellent in rigidity, assemblability and productivity, and is simple in structure. SOLUTION: The recording disk cartridge is provided with; a base frame 10 having, at its side part, an aperture part C2 for accessing; a lower plate 20 which constitutes the lower wall of a cartridge case C and in which a center pore C3 for a chuck is formed; an upper plate 30; a rotary shutter 40 which opens and closes the aperture at the side part; and a swing shutter 50 which has a bearing 51 externally fit to a pivot 21, is arranged between a magnetic disk medium DM and the lower plate 20, and swings in response to the rotational operation of the rotary shutter 40 to open and close the center pore C3 for the chuck. In addition, a lock spring 64, which locks or unlocks the rotation of the rotary shutter 40, is externally fit to a retaining pin 63 having a stepped part 51b for preventing the swing shutter 50 from coming off, and is supported.
