PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the reduction of the labor of a designer or the shortening of a design period by efficiently and accurately operating the circuit delay of an object circuit. SOLUTION: A design support device 300 detects the path of an object circuit by a detecting part 302, and calculates a sensitivity formula for each path by a sensitivity formula calculation part 303, and calculates the element sensitivity Sc of each circuit element configuring the path for each path by an element sensitivity calculating part 304, and calculates the path sensitivity Sp of each path by a path sensitivity calculating part 305, and specifies a correction object path whose path sensitivity Sp is maximized by a path specifying part 306, and specifies a correction object circuit element whose element sensitivity is maximized from among circuit elements configuring the correction object path by a circuit element specifying part 307, and calculates a circuit delay value Rd by correcting a present circuit delay value Td by a correcting part 309, and decides whether or not the circuit delay of the object circuit has been improved by a deciding part 310.
