PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor pin assignment supporting device capable of automatically assigning a pin name to a physical pint of a semiconductor package on the basis of a positional relationship with respect to peripheral parts. SOLUTION: The device for supporting pin assignment work in a designing step for a semiconductor package is provided with: a drawing line setting means for setting a drawing line obtained by making pin alignment straight about each part which is to be connected to a semiconductor package and is to be subjected to pin assignment on the basis of part arrangement information; an assignment order setting means for setting an order of each part to be subjected to pin assignment on the basis of the part arrangement information; and a pin assigning means for assigning pin numbers of the semiconductor package and a pin name of each part in the set assignment order on the basis of the drawing line and connection information and for setting the association of the pin numbers of the semiconductor package with pin names.
