PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding 10 manufacturing method capable of forming the end part 40 of the molding finely in appearance. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is constituted by the steps of forming the projection part 44 on the rear side of the design part 12 by removing the lower half part of the body 14 over a predetermined length from the tip of the molding end part 40; forming the thin-wall part 42a having a thickness capable of elastic deformation by removing, in the tip of the molding end part 40, the rear side of the design part 12 while leaving its front face intact; arranging the molding 10 in a molding die and bending the thin-wall part 42a to the rear side to form the end wall 42; and in the molding die injection-molding the bridging part 50 that links the projection part 44 and the end wall 42.
