PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method and a welding device capable of reducing a power consumption and performing a welding without degrading the strength of overlapped base metals inexpensively in a short period of time. SOLUTION: In the welding method, one base metal is arranged in an intersecting manner with the other, and the base metals intersecting with each other are spot-welded. The welding is performed while one electrode is placed on an intersecting portion with another base metal, and a pair of the other electrodes are placed on the other base metal on both sides of the portions across the other base metal and on the same side of one electrode with the predetermined spacing therebetween.
