PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for allowing an operator to easily and efficiently perform an instruction operation in setting a route. SOLUTION: The navigation device comprises a positioning means 1 for positioning a current position, a position storage means 4 for storing the current position obtained from the positioning means 1 as positional information, a route setting means 5 for setting a route using the position stored in the position storage means 4 as the destination, an operation button (input means 2) with which the operator inputs an operation instruction, and a control means 9 for determining in response to the operation state of the operation button whether the current position obtained from the positioning means 1 is stored in the position storage means 4 or the route setting means 5 is made to set a route using the position stored in the position storage means 4 as the destination.
