PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety by a simple and inexpensive means in a locking module for locking a steering column. SOLUTION: The locking module is provided with two locking flanges (10, 12) provided between the lock state for locking the steering column and the release state for releasing the steering column so as to be relatively moved to each other. The locking module is further provided with cam shape means (30, 32). The two locking flanges (10, 12) are provided so as to be relatively moved to each other along a control movement route (C). The locking module is further provided with a locking device (40) different from the cam shape means (30, 32) and locking the two locking flanges (10, 12) in the lock state.
