PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a speaker mounting area on a frame formation part as seen as a small area when it is observed from the front, and to reinforce also the structure of a cabinet itself having the frame. SOLUTION: The video display apparatus comprises: a lower frame formation part 12a4 of a front frame; and a sound discharge part 21R opened like a horizontal rectangle on the frame formation part 12a4. To obtain a horn shape of the sound discharge part 21R, the cross-sectional shape of the sound discharge part 21R forms first and second walls 22, 23 constituting a horn shape to be vent and expanded so as to be separated from each other in the vertical direction from the rear aperture to the front. Then a third wall 23a retreated and inclined downward while being bent in the rear direction of the front frame is formed continuously to the front side of the lower second wall 23.
