PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide positioning pattern paper capable of accurately attaching an installation and fixation tool for installing a dishwasher to the prescribed position of a cabinet, and a method for attaching the installation and fixation jig using the positioning pattern paper. SOLUTION: A pattern paper body 1 is formed by using a rigid paper-based material or resin-based material (such as corrugated paper), and the pattern paper body 1 is provided with an engaging part (such as an engaging projection 14) for holding the pattern paper body at the prescribed position by being engaged with a part of the cabinet 32, and also provided with an attaching position display part 15 for displaying a position to attach the installation and fixation tool D. The end part 11a and end parts 12a and 12b of the pattern paper body 1 are respectively bent to the same surface side, a cut 13 is provided roughly in parallel with one side on the prescribed position of the pattern paper body 1, and the end part 11a is bent roughly perpendicularly.
