The controller has an interface module for transmitting, to a hardware module, data read in a RAM, where the data transmission is not associated to an indication of a data storage address to the hardware module. The interface module receives the data delivered by the hardware module and transmits the received data to the RAM, where the data reception is not associated to the indication of the data storage address to the hardware module. An independent claim is also included for a method for exchanging of data with a processing module in a system on chip.
