An organic light emitting diode display and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve image quality and reduce an error by preventing a short bar made of a cathode electrode material from being damaged. An organic light emitting diode display includes a substrate(10), a first electrode(14), a first sub-electrode(20), a first short bar(22), an organic light emitting layer, a second electrode, a second sub-electrode(30), and a second short bar(32). The first electrode(14) is formed on the substrate(10). The first sub-electrode(20) is connected to the first electrode(14) to apply external power to the first electrode(14). The first short bar(22) is formed on a COG(Chip On Glass) area of the substrate(10) and electrically connects the first sub-electrode(20). The organic light emitting layer is formed on the first electrode(14). The second electrode is formed in a rectangular direction of the first electrode(14) on the organic light emitting layer. The second sub-electrode(30) is connected to the second electrode to apply the external power to the second electrode. The second short bar(32) is formed on the COG area of the substrate(10) and electrically connects the second sub-electrode(30). |
