A method for estimating a camera compensation matrix is provided to offer a three-dimensional pattern for camera compensation composed of two planes, thereby easily and conveniently producing and managing the three-dimensional pattern for camera compensation. A method for estimating a camera compensation matrix comprises the following steps of: providing a three-dimensional pattern for camera compensation composed of two planes; selecting a specific point where a three-dimensional coordinate is allocated to the three-dimensional pattern image for camera compensation that the three-dimensional pattern for camera compensation is projected by a camera; extracting a reference point to match the three-dimensional pattern for camera compensation and the three-dimensional pattern image for camera compensation; matching the three-dimensional pattern coordinate for camera compensation and the three-dimensional pattern image coordinate for camera compensation; and calculating a camera compensation matrix by solving the camera compensation matrix for the matched three-dimensional coordinate and the specific point coordinate of the three-dimensional pattern image for camera compensation. |
