A brewing-type beverage production device comprises comprising:
- at least one water reservoir (1,2),
- at least two thermoblocks (3,4) respectively being in fluid connection with the water reservoir (1,2),
- at least two brewing chambers (5,6), each of the brewing chambers (5,6) being supplied with heated water from one of the thermoblocks (3,4), being adapted to contain a beverage ingredient and being connected with an outlet (7,8) for draining a brewed beverage,
the device (9) furthermore comprising thermoblock evacuating means (16,17) designed for selectively providing a fluid connection between an inlet side (23,24) of each thermoblock (3,4) and a respective evacuating outlet (12,13).
