There is provided an optical recording medium processing apparatus comprising: a carriage (76) including a lens (80) to guide a light beam to a recording medium (72) for moving in a direction extending across tracks on the recording medium; a first detector (48) for detecting a TES; and a second detector for obtaining a sensitivity ratio of a land to a groove of the track by using the level of a differential signal of the TES.
