CHIMERIC ANTIGENS

Chimeric respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) polypeptide antigens are provi ded. The disclosed polypeptides include in an N-terminal to C-terminal direc tion: a first F protein polypeptide domain; a G protein polyeptpide domain; and a second F protein polypeptide domain. The disclosure also provides nucl eic acids that encode, and pharmaceutical compositions that contain, the chi meric RSV polypeptides, as well as methods for their production and use.
