<p>The invention provides an alarm device suitable for use in vehicles to alert a driver when the device detects driver fatigue. The alarm device includes a switch circuit and a control circuit. In one form the switch circuit has one or more switches arranged on a flexible laminate, the laminate including on its surface circuitry connecting the one or more switches. The control circuit in one form is connected to the switch circuit, the control circuit comprising a processor and an alarm means, the processor being arranged to activate the alarm means if the device is in use and all of the switches are in an off-state.</p> |
