<p>PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for treating heavy dust of refining furnace are provided to recycle iron scrap for steelmaking and subsidiary raw materials contained in the dust by injecting the collected dust into the refining furnace again after collecting dust generated in the refining furnace. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a heavy dust transfer pipe(40) which is rotationally installed at a deck(30) on an upper part of skimmer facility, on an upper part of one side of which an inlet is formed so that heavy dust is flown in through the inlet, on a lower part of the other side of which an outlet(41) is formed so that heavy dust is discharged through the outlet, at an inner side of which a transfer screw for transferring heavy dust is installed, and at the side end of which a driving motor(43) for rotating the transfer screw is installed to supply the heavy dust discharged through a heavy dust transfer line(20) to ladle(110); and a rotation means comprising a driving cylinder(51) installed on the deck and connected to a lever(50) extended to the outer side from rotation shaft(44) of the transfer pipe to drive the rotation shaft so that the outlet of the transfer pipe is selectively positioned on an upper part of the ladle, wherein the apparatus further comprises a hopper(21) installed at a lower part of the transfer line to store heavy dust, and a guiding chute(46) installed at the inlet of the transfer pipe to guide heavy dust dropped through discharge port(24) of the hopper to the transfer pipe, wherein the apparatus further comprises a scattering means comprising scattering pipe(60), spiral blade and chain(65) to uniformly scatter heavy dust inside the ladle.</p> |
