PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system capable of performing communication at a high data rate without increasing transmission power even if an interference wave is present.

SOLUTION: The base station for performing communication with a radio communication terminal includes: an obtaining means for obtaining the state of variation of a propagation path with the radio communication terminal on the basis of a reception radio signal from the radio communication terminal; a requesting means for requesting the radio communication terminal to report information about communication channels based on the used power of the communication channels on the basis of the state of variation of the propagation path obtained by the obtaining means; and a channel allocating means for allocating a communication channel to the radio communication terminal on the basis of the information about the communication channel from the radio communication terminal.
