PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article which is easy to wear and excellent in wear feeling.SOLUTION: A separation area 1D is formed by arranging a front side leg elastic member 34 and a rear side leg elastic member 35 separately from each other in a longitudinal direction X. An absorbent body 2 is joined to an inner layer sheet 32, which constitutes an exterior body 3, at a portion where at least both side edge parts 23S of an absorber 23 along the longitudinal direction X and the leg elastic members 34, 35 are overlapped in a plane view. The absorber 23 comprises a high rigidity area 23H having relatively high flexural rigidity, and a low rigidity area 23L having flexural rigidity lower than the high rigidity area 23H. The high rigidity area 23H is located at a central part of a lateral direction Y and continues over the entire length of the separation area 1D in the longitudinal direction X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
