摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery, which enables the formation of a negative electrode superior in input and output characteristics and energy density; a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery; and a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: A negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery comprises amorphous carbon particles. In a particle size volume cumulative distribution (%) measured on the amorphous carbon particles satisfy by a laser diffraction technique, a particle diameter D(μm) at 10% from the origin toward a larger particle diameter, a particle diameter D(μm) at 50%, and a particle diameter D(μm) at 90% satisfy the following expressions (1) and (2): (1)D/D≤10.0; and (2) 3.0≤D≤20.0. Further, the tap density T(g/cm) of the amorphous carbon particles meets the following expression (3): (3) D×0.018+0.42≤T.SELECTED DRAWING: None
