The method includes generating one or more Reference Signals associated with the one or more Channel Quality Indicators, and includes mapping the one or more Channel Quality Indicator-Reference Signals to the last symbol of the second slot of the one or more subframes.

1. A method implemented in a user equipment (UE) used in a wireless communications system, comprising:
receiving from a base station two channel quality indicator (CQI) reference signals in a subframe; and transmitting to the base station a report determined according to said two CQI reference signals, wherein the CQI reference signal transmission is repeated at CQI reference signal transmission period TCQI-RS, wherein a subframe offset relative to subframe 0 is provided for the CQI reference signal transmission, and wherein the subframe comprises a resource block and a last OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) symbol in the resource block conveys said two CQI reference signals.
