PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a communication partner device to execute appropriate processing according to an event occurring on the device.SOLUTION: An event occurring on a communication device is detected. According to the detected event, it is detected whether a communication partner device exists within an effective range of a communication unit. As a result of the detection, when the communication partner device exists in the effective range of the communication unit, application information on an application operating on the communication partner device is acquired. On the basis of the acquired application information, start-up information which includes identification information showing an application to be started up on the communication partner device and execution information to be executed on the application is transmitted to the communication partner device through the communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
