PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a concrete placing joint capable of adequately controlling a crack on newly placed concrete.SOLUTION: A construction method for a concrete placing joint to place new concrete 19 on an existing concrete structure 11 comprises: a formwork installation process to install a formwork 15 for placing the new concrete 19 on an upper face 11a of the existing concrete structure 11; a hardening retarded layer installation process to construct a hardening retarded layer 17 which hardens later than the new concrete 19 at a bottom section inside the formwork 15 on the upper face 11a of the existing concrete structure 11; and a new concrete placing process to place the new concrete 19 on the hardening retarded layer 15 inside the formwork 15. In the hardening retarded layer installation process, super retarded concrete with mushy consistency or super retarded mortar with mushy consistency is placed at the bottom section inside the formwork. |
