PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent remaining of an uncut portion of a sheet without scaling up a device structure, in a sheet bundle cutting device of two-blade type.SOLUTION: A sheet bundle cutting device includes a fixed cutting blade 4 and a movable cutting blade 5 disposed to face the fixed cutting blade 4. After fixing a sheet bundle 2 at a fixed position by a press mechanism, by making the movable cutting blade 5 intersect the fixed cutting blade 4, a portion of the sheet bundle 2 protruding from the fixed cutting blade 4 is cut. Auxiliary cutting units 10, 11, 13 to 17 are provided which incise along an intersection line between the fixed cutting blade 4 and the movable cutting blade 5 in advance to at least a sheet forming the sheet bundle 2, on a surface of the fixed cutting blade side of a portion of the sheet bundle 2 protruding from the fixed cutting blade 4, before making the movable cutting blade 5 intersect the fixed cutting blade 4, after the sheet bundle 2 is fixed at the fixed position. |
