The invention provides a secondary battery which can maintain capacity and has a high output performance. The secondary battery comprises an electrode body. The electrode body comprises a collector foil and an active material layer formed on the collector foil. Metal irons of metal contained in the active material layer are employed as movable irons. The active material layer at least is composed of two layers. A first active material layer (a first positive electrode layer) at one side of the collector foil has high capacity compared with a second active material layer (a second positive electrode layer) at the other side. The second active material layer has high output compared with the first active material layer and is connected with the collector foil through a scooping projection part as a conductive part. |
