摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ammonia decomposition catalyst exhibiting a good ammonia decomposition rate at a low temperature using a more general substance as a material.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing an ammonia decomposition catalyst which comprises: a step of mixing a carrier of an ammonia decomposition catalyst and an aqueous solution of a ruthenium precursor; a step of eliminating atoms or substituents combined with ruthenium from a ruthenium compound in the aqueous solution and separating the atoms or substituents eliminated from the ruthenium and the carrier as at least one of ions, molecules and compounds derived from the atoms or the substituents; and a step of drying the ruthenium and carrier obtained by separating the atoms or substituents to obtain the ammonia decomposition catalyst in which the ruthenium is supported with the carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
