PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen gas generation method capable of simply producing hydrogen gas at good efficiency and large amount.SOLUTION: There is provided a hydrogen gas generation method by conducting a treatment of a raw material containing FeOOH to change the FeOOH to FeOto generate hydrogen gas, where the raw material and a material containing Fe coexists, the material containing Fe is arranged so that mass ratio to the amount of FeOOH contained in the raw material is 0.5 or more in terms of free Fe and the FeOOH changes to FeO.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
