PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation optical element evaluation method that implements an evaluation of an image formation optical element obtained by cementing a plurality of pieces of mirror plates lined in a surface direction by a simple method.SOLUTION: An image formation optical element evaluation method comprises the steps of: arranging a plurality of pieces of mirror plates so as to line in a surface direction of the mirror plate; and arranging a chart having a boundary face of a contrast on one face side of the plurality of pieces of mirror plates, and thereby forming a mirror picture 551 of the chart on the other face side of the plurality of pieces of mirror plates. The boundary face of the contrast appearing as the mirror picture 551 is non-parallel with respect to a cemented part of the mirror plates. The image formation optical element evaluation method further comprises a step of detecting distortion of the mirror picture 551 of the chart formed by the plurality of pieces of mirror plates, and thereby evaluating the image formation optical element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
