PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump which achieves high pump efficiency.SOLUTION: A fuel pump 100 includes: a pump body 110 which sucks a fuel into a rotor housing chamber by an inner rotor rotating and discharges the fuel through a discharge passage 117; a housing 102 formed into a cylindrical shape surrounding the pump body 110 from an outer peripheral side; and an electric motor 180 housed in the housing 102. The electric motor 180 includes: a stator 182 which is fixed to the housing 102 and faces an outlet 170 in an axial direction; a rotor 186 which is positioned at an inner peripheral side of the stator 182 and rotates; and a rotary shaft 180a which rotates the inner rotor. A fuel passage 106 which guides the fuel discharged from the outlet 170 to the outside is formed between the stator 182 and the housing 102. The pump body 110 has an inclined surface part 171, which inclines to the outer peripheral side with respect to the rotary shaft 180a toward the electric motor 180 side, at the outlet 170.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
