PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular water pump system capable of suppressing the enlargement of a used water pump.SOLUTION: A vehicular water pump system 10 is equipped with a first water pump 12; a second water pump 14; and a control unit 16. The first water pump 12 is provided in a cooling water circulation channel 34 formed over an engine 20 and a radiator 22. The second water pump 14 is branched off from a high temperature side channel 34A of the cooling water circulation channel 34, and provided in a heater core channel 36 connected to a low temperature side channel 34B of the cooling water circulation channel 34 through a heater core 24. The control unit 16 actuates the second water pump 14 so as to reduce a pressure loss by the second water pump 14 when the cooling water 38 is circulated in the cooling water circulation channel 34 by the actuation of the first water pump 12 and warm water 40 flows in the heater core channel 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
