PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance-type sensor sheet having a detection section capable of elongating and contracting only in one direction easily.SOLUTION: A capacitance-type sensor sheet comprises: a sensor body having a sheet-like dielectric layer made of an elastomer composition, a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer that are made of a conductive composition containing a conductive material; and a plurality of restraining members. The first electrode layer and the second electrode layer are formed on the obverse surface and the reverse surface of the dielectric layer such that the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer face each other at least partially across the dielectric layer. The sensor body has a detection section that is the part at which the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer face each other. The sensor body deforms reversibly such that areas of the obverse and reverse surfaces of the dielectric layer vary. The restraining members are stacked on the sensor body in such a manner that the restraining members cover the detection section. The restraining members are strip-like members made of a non-extensible material. Each restraining member is spaced and arranged in one direction in such a manner that longitudinal directions of the restraining members are substantially parallel. In a planar view of the detection section, the 20 to 80% area of the detection section is covered by the restraining members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
