<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an excessive current from flowing in a diode and a parasitic diode inside a switch element with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A power factor correction circuit includes a filter capacitor 2 interposed between AC input terminals 1a and 1b, a first inductor 4a interposed between one end of the filter capacitor 2 and one input of a first rectification bridge circuit 12, a second inductor 4b interposed between an other end of the filter capacitor 2 and an other input of the first rectification bridge circuit 12, a second rectification bridge circuit 3 whose input is connected to the AC input terminals 1a and 1b and whose output is connected to a smoothing capacitor 10, and a control circuit for controlling a switch element of the first rectification bridge circuit 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
