PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a hydraulic stepless transmission(HST) and miniaturize parts of a driving system thereby. SOLUTION: This sulky rice transplanter having an HST 70 is obtained by arranging a transmission case 6 and the HST 70 in an overlapping state when viewed from a side, locating an input pulley 73 secured to an input shaft of the HST 70 between the transmission case 6 and the HST 70, arranging a speed changing operation lever link 75 between the transmission case 6 and the HST 70 and further installing the speed changing operation lever link 75 on the outside of a belt 54 wound and stretched around the input pulley of the HST 70 and an output pulley of an engine.
