PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security document, which can be produced at home and with an office printer. SOLUTION: The security document equips with a supporting layer (36), on which a coating layer (38, 138a) of a material is arranged. A dye percolating type ink can percolate into the coating layer of the material. Under the condition that no pigment type ink (52) substantially percolates in the top face of the coating layer, the dye percolating layer percolates into the coating layer of the material, resulting in forming the characters of a message (40) or an image, while an opaque pigment type ink conceals the message by being printed on the characters of the message or the image. The pigment type ink is printed so simply and weakly being bonded as to be removed through the application of a gentle polishing in order to reveal the message. |
