PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium, with which a high image quality as good as silver salt photograph, the color bleeding, bronzing, image surface strength and writing quality of which are improved and which is excellent in light resistance, water resistance, abrading resistance and fusion resistance during the storage in an album, its manufacturing method, an image forming method with the ink jet recording medium and its formed image. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording medium having a plurality of ink absorbing layers on a support, a surface layer includes an inorganic pigment and fine thermoplastic particles under the condition that the solid mass of the inorganic pigment is larger than that of the fine thermoplastic particles. |
