PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the number of maximum simultaneous distributions on a network by a simple distribution limiting control-processing, and to protect a copyright of a content, etc., by inhibiting content-utilization exceeding a scope of a private use.

SOLUTION: An electronic appliance having a network distribution function includes a control means for controlling a distribution limitation of distribution information based on a comparison-result of the number of network connecting appliances with the number of distribution limiting appliances.
