PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass ware with an embedded bone fragment which does not break during cooling by manufacturing a glass rod with a bone fragment embedded in a glass and using it as a glass bead. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the glass rod, the bone fragment is placed on a softened glass, then the glass is turned in a melting furnace so that the bone fragment is embedded in the glass. After that, the glass is taken up and stretched out into the form of a rod. Also, the method for preparing the glass bead using the glass rod is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
