PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform composite color processing corresponding to designated work flow. SOLUTION: In performing color space conversion from a first color space to a second color space for objects of characters or figures, when objects having different colors are synthesized in an image processing apparatus for applying synthesized color processing to the objects having different colors; a region is divided where the objects to be synthesized are overlapped, and the objects of the divided overlapping portion are subjected to synthesize color processing on the basis of information of the designated work flow.
