PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that has satisfactory characteristics (frequency characteristics and directivity), and reduces installation space. SOLUTION: The antenna comprises: a base 3 formed rectangularly and flatly; a first conductive element 5 that is formed rectangularly and is provided on the surface of the base 3, so that the side is in parallel with the side of the base 3; a second conductive element 7 that is formed rectangularly, is separated from the first conductive element 5, and is provided on the surface of the base 3 so that a side is in parallel with the side of the base 3; and a cable 9 that crosses the side of the base 3 nearly orthogonally and is extended from the base 3.
