A tension cylinder of a tendon for public works is provided to improve the stiffness by making a cylinder body and a piston of aluminum alloy and anodizing the surface of the cylinder, and to prevent damage of a cylinder head and a piston rod by restricting infiltration of foreign matters between the cylinder head and the piston rod with a foreign matter infiltration restricting ring. A tension cylinder(100) includes a cylinder body(110), a hollow tendon guide pipe(130) formed in the middle of the cylinder body, a piston(120), and a tendon gripping unit(160). A rod is extended in the piston, and the piston is reciprocated by hydraulic pressure. The tendon gripping unit is placed at the end of the rod of the piston to hold a tendon in extending the piston in the cylinder body. The cylinder body and the piston are made of aluminum alloy, and the surface of the cylinder is anodized to resist wear and to improve rigidity. A foreign matter infiltration restricting ring(152) is formed in a cylinder head(150). |
