<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid or phase change ink composition which is used for an apparatus for a direct printing inkjet process or used for an indirect (offset) printing inkjet application, which is injectable by an inkjet process at a temperature from about 60°C to about 90°C, and which exhibits improved scratch and mechanical crease characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition includes a vehicle, a phase change agent, and a polar wax containing one or more acidic groups.
