摘要 A queue assist control system of a vehicle is provided to keep the continuous stopping state of the vehicle when the vehicle stops, by using an electronic parking brake. A queue assist control system of a vehicle is composed of: a front object detecting sensor detecting the relative speed and relative distance of an object positioned in front of the vehicle; a brake controller braking the vehicle; an electronic parking brake keeping braking power in stopping and parking; and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) controlling the brake controller and an engine controller to keep the predetermined desirable front distance by using information detected by the front object detecting sensor. The ECU determines a control mode of the queue assist control system, judges acceleration, deceleration, and stop commands by using the desirable distance, the relative distance from the front vehicle, and relative speed, and decides target speed and target deceleration according to the acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle on the basis of the present speed of the vehicle and the desirable distance from the front vehicle. The ECU generates driving power by controlling the engine controller on the basis of the determined target speed if acceleration is needed, and generates braking power by controlling the brake controller on the basis of the determined target deceleration if deceleration is needed. The ECU holds a stop state of the vehicle by controlling the electronic parking brake in stopping or parking the vehicle.
