CONTAINER FOR BAKING AND CARRIER FOR BAKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for baking and a carrier for baking capable of efficiently recovering sensible heat held by high temperature exhaust gas in a baking furnace to save energy.

SOLUTION: The container 10 for baking includes a heating chamber 12 maintained at high temperature and a baking chamber 13 continued to the heating chamber 12, storing a baked object and baking the baked object by heat from the heating chamber 12. A shielding member 20 comprising a radiation heat reflector for suppressing heat release from the baking chamber 13 is mounted to the baking chamber 13. The radiation heat reflector includes: a base material 22 in which nonoxide inorganic fiber 21 with heat resistance is interlaced; and a protection layer 23 for covering the inorganic fiber 21 forming the base material 22. The protection layer 23 is formed of heat resistant and corrosion resistant oxide, composite oxide, or mixed oxide comprising oxide and composite oxide.
